Where do you look for new properties to invest? Do you use newspapers, classifieds, real estate agents, ads, etc.
What the most you should be able to ask for a security deposit while still abiding by the law and not scaring your potential tenants away?
What is a REIT and why would I want to invest in it versus just buying my own properties?
And who can I charge those too? Is it just commercial properties or also residential properties?
I don't really want to spend the money on getting a lawyer to help me create lease agreements. Therefore is it ok if I just buy a lease agreement template online and use it?
Obviously everyone should get an home inspection, but what I can personally look for as an investor when walking through a property I might be interested in purchasing? What are the biggest warning signs I should look for that will make me want to run? And what are positive signs that this is a good property?
