What is a property survey?

What is a property survey and when are they needed?

Answer:

A property survey is a drawing of a property showing its boundaries and other physical features.

Some property surveys also include the location of a house, a shed, any other buildings and fences that might be on the property. I will also often include the position of any public or municipal easements.
